Lead the Haglöfs Retail Experience in Innsbruck
We’re looking for an experienced Store Manager for Haglöfs in Innsbruck to help shape a premium outdoor retail experience in one of Europe’s most iconic alpine cities — the perfect place to bring the Haglöfs brand closer to the outdoor community.

Role Purpose
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day performance and development of the Haglöfs retail experience in Innsbruck. You will create an inspiring customer journey, drive commercial performance, and ensure that the store reflects the values, quality, and spirit of the Haglöfs brand.
You will play a key role in fostering a strong team culture and creating a welcoming destination for the outdoor community in Austria, combining product expertise, service, and a genuine passion for life outdoors.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a dynamic retail environment and wants to make a meaningful impact through exceptional customer experiences and strong commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful opening of the Haglöfs Innsbruck Brand Store, including setting up store systems, POS, and back-of-house processes from scratch
- Define the local hiring plan and recruit, onboard, and develop the founding store team
- Drive sales, service, and overall store performance
- Create an inspiring and premium customer experience
- Ensure the store reflects Haglöfs' brand identity, values, and product expertise
- Build strong relationships within the local outdoor community
- Manage daily store operations, stock routines, and reporting
- Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation meet Haglöfs standards
- Act as the key local brand ambassador for Haglöfs in Innsbruck
- Deliver a healthy and sustainable store P&L
Skills & Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Strong retail management experience, ideally within outdoor, sports, or premium fashion retail
- A genuine passion for the outdoors, mountains, and an active lifestyle
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong commercial mindset and commitment to customer service excellence
- Structured, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
- Positive, energetic, and solution-oriented leadership style
- Local market knowledge and an established network in Innsbruck are strong advantages
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of retail experience, including experience in a leading role (e.g. Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or similar)
- Fluent German and strong English communication skills
Practical Details
- Contract: Full-time, permanent (38.5 hrs/week)
- Start date: October 2026 preferred
- Reports to: Retail Manager
