We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work in our Backend Team within Cloud Protection for Salesforce (CPSF) — a fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS product within WithSecure™.

CPSF is a real-time threat protection solution that scans files, URLs, and QR codes across Salesforce workflows — including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Agentforce. It's already trusted by Fortune 500 companies globally, and we're scaling fast. The backend powers the core intelligence of the product: threat detection engines, API integrations, and our security cloud infrastructure running on AWS.

In this role, you'll work in the backend engineering team - responsible for the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET and AWS.
• Work on backend microservices and APIs consumed by Salesforce applications and other internal services.
• Support workflows that include file streaming and callback-based responses.
• Participate in the full feature lifecycle: requirements discussion, design, task breakdown, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, QA, DevOps, Salesforce teams, and product stakeholders.
• Create and review pull requests, contribute to technical discussions, and maintain code quality.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure including networking, security, storage, compute, messaging, databases, monitoring, and scaling services.
• Contribute to technical investigations through spikes, ADRs, and proof-of-concept work.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong background in backend systems and cloud infrastructure.
• AWS experience — you're comfortable designing, deploying, and operating production workloads on AWS. Experience with services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, or similar is a strong advantage.

• Strong collaboration skills — you work naturally across Product, Architecture, and Front-end teams to move things forward.

• Proficiency with AI tooling and a genuine interest in leveraging it to increase team efficiency.

• Based in Finland (Uusimaa area) — this is a hybrid role with regular time in our Helsinki office.

• Background in cybersecurity is a plus but not required — curiosity and willingness to learn the domain matters most.

• Fluent English
