The Operational Performance Team Lead plays a pivotal role in strengthening restaurant performance, protecting the McDonald’s brand and ensuring consistency in how we evaluate and support our restaurants across the Nordics.

  • Stay closely connected to restaurant operations by conducting own visits, while balancing the role between field execution and leading the Nordic OPC team, with approximately 50% of time spent on visits and 50% on team leadership and program execution.".
  • Plan and Secure Visit Execution: Own the operational visit plan, maintain the Monday.com schedule, ensure balanced coverage across markets, weekdays, weekends and dayparts, and secure completion within agreed deadlines.
  • Develop the OPC Team: Lead, coach and develop Operational Performance Consultants through PDX, development conversations, calibration, joint visits, feedback and ongoing follow-up.
  • Secure Consistency and Calibration: Ensure objective and consistent ratings across consultants, markets and visit types through calibration sessions, report reviews and shared ways of working.
  • Drive Improvement and Stakeholder Value: Turn restaurant visit observations into actionable insights that improve restaurant performance, support Operational Exellence Consultants with coaching bottom-performing restaurants and create value for Food Folk and franchisees.
  • Incident Handling and Field Support: Act as first point of support for Operational Performance Consultants when incidents or difficult field situations occur, escalating critical issues when needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the local Operational Exellence teams, PACE and Compliance, People Development, and Ops Insights to strengthen follow-up, operational learning and implementation of new tools and routines.
