Head of Strategy Development
Are you interested in joining one of Europe's fastest-growing companies? Do you want to shape the strategic future of a business that impacts the wellbeing of millions?
Then keep reading — and join us to make an impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you'll play a key role in boosting everyday wellbeing, at home, at work. Everywhere.
Your mission
This new, Head of Strategy Development role will be working directly with our Group CEO and Leadership Team. You will own a portfolio of group-wide strategic growth opportunities — taking complex, ambiguous problems, structuring them, and driving them through to execution. Your work will directly shape our expansion into new markets and benefit product categories. Over time, the role may move to another CxO leader as the business evolves.
What you'll own
You will work across five interconnected areas:
Strategic Problem Solving — Turn complex, open-ended questions into structured workstreams with clear owners, timelines, and outputs. Build the analysis and recommendations that help the CEO and LT make better decisions faster.
New Product & Market Exploration — Partner with the CPO to identify opportunities, validate assumptions, and develop go/no-go recommendations for new product areas. Own defined scopes of new market exploration, collaborating with the Head of M&A on buy vs. build analysis.
Cross-functional Mobilisation — Build and lead temporary project teams drawn from across the business. You are an orchestrator — aligning stakeholders, managing pace, and ensuring blockers are removed without direct authority over the team.
Strategic Partnerships — Scope and develop vendor partnerships aligned to business strategy. Negotiate commercial terms at country and group level in collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Country Management.
Operational Execution — Prepare materials and briefings for leadership decisions. Contribute to annual planning and OKRs, translating strategy into clear priorities. Represent the LT in working-level conversations where appropriate.
You'll thrive here if…
You get energy from ambiguity — a half-formed problem feels like an opportunity, not a blocker.
You're equally comfortable in a boardroom and a working session, and know how to shift between the two.
You care about getting things done, not just getting things right — you push for progress over perfection.
You're genuinely curious about markets, products, and the mechanics of how businesses grow.
What you should bring
You will be most effective here if you started your career in technology-focused consulting and have since spent time inside a fast-moving scale-up or high-change environment — ideally in fintech, payments, B2B software, or HR. You understand both the rigour of structured problem-solving and the pragmatism of getting things done in a dynamic, multi-market business.
Experience: 8+ years, with a consulting foundation and meaningful time inside a high-growth tech or scale-up environment in Europe or beyond.
Structured thinking: You can take a messy problem and make it legible, fast — with or without a perfect brief.
Stakeholder influence: Confident working with and challenging senior leaders; experienced running multi-stakeholder projects without direct authority.
Intellectual curiosity: Genuinely energised by markets, products, and how businesses grow.
AI fluency: Comfortable using AI as your co-pilot to supercharge your overall effectiveness and impact.
What success looks like
Within your first year, you will have taken ownership of 2–3 significant strategic workstreams and seen at least one through to an active initiative. The Leadership Team trusts you to represent the office independently, and your fingerprints are on decisions that are shaping the next chapter of Epassi's growth. You've helped identify and land new product or market opportunities backed by structured research — and you're already influencing how the next planning cycle takes shape.
