Then you might be the person we are looking for! Take on the role as Residential Business Development Manager and report to our National Residential Sales Manager.

  • Working hours: 39 hours, 08:00am - 17:00pm, 1 hour unpaid lunch

The role as Residential Business Development Manager

As our Residential Business Development Manager, your mission will be to grow and maximise sales of Lindab’s full Residential Ventilation product range across your region.

Your responsibilities include

  • Develop, grow and identify residential ventilation sales within your allocated region
  • Conducting technical take‑offs and producing accurate specifications, whilst preparing accurate component lists and adapting designs to incorporate Lindab solutions while maintaining performance requirements.
  • Supporting customers with design, product selection, and regulation compliance
  • Delivering CPD presentations and technical product demonstrations
  • Providing specialist technical support on product selection, MVHR/MEV system design, and compliance with current building regulations, including participating in site surveys and joint visits where needed.
  • Using Vecta to manage customer interactions, opportunities, and call planning
  • Monitoring customer activity, competitor behaviour, and market trends

Who you are

You have deep knowledge of residential ventilation, technical sales, or building services. You have an excellent understanding of system design, building regulations, and interpreting drawings/specifications. You have experience in field‑based sales or technical business development, ideally within ventilation, construction, or building services.

As a person, you are commercially minded and technically confident. You are also a strong relationship‑builder who thrives in a customer‑facing environment. In your way of working, you are organised, self‑motivated, and effective at managing your own time and territory.

What you bring

  • Relevant technical or industry‑related education (ventilation, building services, or construction — desirable)
  • Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or specification‑led selling
  • Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and ventilation system designs
  • Confident communication and presentation skills, including delivering CPDs
  • CRM/IT proficiency, ideally with Vecta, plus strong organisational and planning skills
