We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role you will work on industrial automation projects, contributing to the development and implementation of systems where PLCs, robotics and data solutions are integrated into complete customer applications.

Our projects often begin with incomplete or evolving inputs, requiring a flexible and practical approach to deliver technically sound and commercially viable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement PLC programs as part of industrial automation solutions
  • Contribute to the integration of PLCs, robotics, and data systems into complete solutions
  • Interpret electrical schematics and support system definition activities
  • Assist in ensuring overall system functionality, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
  • Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities
  • Work with customers and internal teams to clarify requirements and refine solutions

What We Expect from You

  • Background in discrete production/manufacturing automation
  • Experience in industrial automation projects, with a solid understanding of system implementation in practice
  • Strong focus on PLC programming as a primary responsibility, with knowledge of higher-level data integrations
  • Experience with Siemens / Bekchoff / B&R automation systems and text-based programming languages
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience in robotics, AMRs and simulations
  • Practical, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
  • BSc or MSc in Engineering or a relevant technical field
  • Fluent in English and Finnish
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Capability to work daily on-site (Vantaa )

Location & Employment Details

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Location: Helsinki metropolitan area (on-site in Vantaa)
  • Applicants must have valid authorization to work in Finland
