Managing and engineering data security capabilities using Microsoft Purview, AWS Macie, SecurityHub, KMS, CloudWatch & Cloudtrail
Supporting sensitive data discovery, classification, DLP, and remediation efforts
Developing alerts, dashboards, reports, and workflows consumable by Legal, GRC, and security stakeholders
Supporting enterprise AI security initiatives including DLP and governance controls for Microsoft Copilot and third-party AI platforms such as ChatGPT & Claude to help prevent sensitive data leakage and unauthorized use of enterprise data
Implementing controls and monitoring around external sharing, data exposure, and AI security risks
Supporting compliance initiatives aligned to PCI DSS, NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs, and related standards Candidates should have:
3–5 years of experience in Data Security, or Security Engineering with focus on data security
Strong experience with security of SaaS providers and integrating them with Microsoft Purview and doing due diligence on the access and security configuration of the SaaS providers.
Strong experience with Microsoft Purview, M365 security technologies, and AWS security services
Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell preferred)
Familiarity with enterprise compliance and security frameworks
Relevant Microsoft and AWS security certifications preferred
Any experience with DSPM solutions such as Cyera, ConcetricAI or others will be a plus
Skills & Requirements
This is a more hands-on engineering role and heavily focused on data remediation engineering tasks and AI security in addition to the Microsoft 365/Purview.
