About this role.....

You will have the unique opportunity to work closely with recruiting manager and across business units for various recruitment activities in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate would have high energy, able to communicate and work effectively with internal business team and candidates, possessing the ability to juggle multiple tasks and creatively solve problems, enjoying moving forward with process under procedural system. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to learn the recruiting practices from a global software company.

What to expect?

  • You learn about Meltwater - on the job learning, networking events, knowledge sharing session.
  • You are our brand ambassador and support recruiters for the full recruiting cycle - You will manage all-important candidate experiences from scheduling phone/video interview to handling onsite interviews. Maintain recruitment applicant tracking system ensuring information is up-to-date. Assist recruiters to source candidates by reviewing CV and making candidate screening calls. Own job postings offer generation, the employee working visa application, and onboarding task administration.
  • You analyze the recruiting metrics and provide report - You will support analyzing important recruiting metrics and data insights to better understand our recruiting work. You will work closely with the recruitment manager to develop and execute the training programs as well as the new communication programs.
  • You identify areas for improvement in recruiting experiences strategies - You conduct benchmarking research and analysis to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of our programs to candidates.
  • Digital recruitment projects - You will manage the Meltwater Greater China Career site and Wechat official account with the goal of creating a strong employer brand presence online. You will be planning, creating and sourcing content, in charge of the calendar planning and community management. You will work with the regional marketing team, external agencies and Greater China business leaders to develop appealing multimedia content for various recruitment campaign use. You will provide insights into our social media recruiting performance with data and analysis supported. You will perform competitor research for digital recruitment marketing trend from major software companies and multinational B2B companies.

Skills & Requirements

We would love to see…

  • Current Year 2 or 3 students looking for some hands-on innovative recruitment and event management experience in a fast-moving environment and entrepreneurial environment.
  • With 2 months+ recruiting experience gained from in house recruiting team or agency is highly preferred.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Strong self-awareness, with a desire for constant self-improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced international work environment.
  • Proficient in either Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), photography, illustration or graphic design is a big plus.
  • Available to work between 16-28 hours a week or work for 6 months as a full time.
  • Immediately available is preferred.
