The Client Insight team of Meltwater plays a vital role that helps our clients see the outside insights of their media performance. By leveraging multi-channel datasets, CI team focus on unveiling media insights in the market where our clients are operating. We deliver intelligence reports based on holistic views of different media outlets and social medias. We also help to analyze media impacts, draw out brand trends, monitor competitors and showcase the results to clients for an integrated media strategy. About Assistant Media Analyst

As a Assistant Media Analyst, you will support Media Analysts to provide clients’ report based on Meltwater’s strong products/services. You will be ensuring data quality and accuracy to support the utilization of our AI-driven software and reporting platform, that linked to how we diagnose client media data, interpret this data and draw recommendations on key stories impacting our clients brands. Your work will be influencing clients’ business on various levels including their long-term strategies as well as short-term decision making.

What you will be doing?

  • Identify and gather report data for weekly, monthly, and annual client insight report
  • Conduct data cleansing to identify unused and/or duplicate data for better management and quicker access
  • To handle the ad-hoc requests from both client side and team side, and provide support on instant crisis monitoring based on Meltwater platforms
  • Proactively identify data quality and integrity issues that affect the accuracy of reporting
  • Support Media Analyst to create detailed reports and present recommendations to clients
  • Assess, implement and evangelize innovative processes to drive business excellence
  • Understand and apply data management processes, procedures and internal control standards
  • Keep track of market trends and staying abreast in the digital market arena
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager

Skills & Requirements

What we would like to see from you

  • Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts, Journalism, Business Analytics, Communication, Advertising, Marketing, Psychology, Public Relations or Business related majors
  • Passionate about marketing and social analytics
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good at collecting and integrating large volumes of data from multiple channels
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Reliable, positive, enthusiastic
  • Have an aptitude for learning new products and technologies
  • Ability to effectively deliver multiple tasks at one time in a fast paced, dynamic and team-based environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Detail oriented; able to ensure quality of report content by keeping numerous project details organized
