As Junior CloudOps Engineer, based at our Stockholm office, you will support and help maintain our hybrid cloud infrastructure. Working across storage, networking and microservices, you contribute to secure, reliable and efficient operations, supporting business-critical systems while developing your skills within cloud operations and security.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Junior CloudOps Engineer your main contribution will be to support and help maintain our hybrid cloud infrastructure, learning to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations across all environments. You will report to the Infra Operations Manager, who will support your development in the role. You will grow into operational excellence, security, and automation by:

As Junior CloudOps Engineer, you will:

  • Support and maintain cloud services and core infrastructure
  • Assist in security and compliance work across environments and systems
  • Contribute to automating operational tasks and processes
  • Monitor system performance, availability and security
  • Support troubleshooting and incident handling together with the team
  • Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of processes
  • Collaborate with development and service delivery teams

    Specific experience and knowledge for this role:

    • Around 2 years’ experience in IT operations, security or a related field
    • Interest in cloud operations and security, particularly SecOps
    • Exposure to a cloud platform such as Azure or AWS
    • Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
    • Experience with PowerShell scripting, or willingness to learn
    • Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP and DNS
    • Awareness of common security concepts such as patching and threat protection
    • Familiarity with security operations, SIEM tooling or SOC workflows is a plus
    • Familiarity with identity and access management and SSO solutions is a plus
    • Awareness of DNS, PKI or cryptography concepts is a plus
    • Relevant security certifications or coursework, or progress toward them, is a plus
    • Fluent in English, written and spoken
