Seeking a Senior Software Developer with a strong background in Architecture, building applications (front end/backend), Angular, React, API management and critical problem solving skills.
ResponsibilitiesRead, analyze, design, build, test and debug applications for system integrations solutions with focus on HR data between internal and external systemsDesign and implement applications using Web Services methodologies such as XML, XSLT,JSON, xPath and other related technologiesDesign and build user friendly interfaces using scripting languages and front-end frameworks and librariesDevelop and manage server-side programming and APIsManage databases for HR data within the technology landscape for various subscribing systemsParticipate in project and DevOps delivery from requirements gathering to deploymentLead business and stakeholder teams to effectively translate business requirements intotechnical solutions keeping in mind best practices and industry standardsPerform fit-gap analysis to identify opportunities to automate and make existing processes more efficient.Collaborate with various teams, including third party vendors, Enterprise Applications and Infrastructure teams on various projects and day-to-day deliverablesMentor junior team members to ensure deliverables are metAnalyze data points to influence critical decisions to effectively deliver on projectsBuild and foster client & peer relationships, partner with other teams to deliver mission critical applicationsLead support teams and other team members to troubleshoot critical incidents by conducting root cause analysis and identifying solutionsContribute to impact analysis during various application Release CyclesOwn comprehensive technical documentation of integrations and other applications for document versions and archives
Basic QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of experience developing software applicationsMinimum 5+ years hands-on experience configuring systemsMinimum 5+ years of experience with some of the following specific technologies: OData, REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, JDBC, CSV, XML, JSON, XSL, encryption standards such as PGP, x509.Minimum 5+ years of experience working on JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js, Angular, jQueryMinimum 5+ years of experience working server-side programming languages such as Net, Java, Ruby and PythonMinimum 3+years of experience in API development using web services and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) methodologies.Minimum 3+years of experience in database technology, including SQLServer, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as server caching, browser caching, CDN caching, database query caching, in-memory caching (like Redis and Memcached), and application cachingExpertise in comprehensive testing lifecycle inclusive of Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, and Defect Remediation.Comfortable with Agile and Waterfall development lifecycles for project deliveriesExperience with software development lifecycle methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.Expertise in secure software development and secure coding practicesAbility to translate business requirements into software technical specificationsAct as a liaison between business and technology teamsKeep abreast with latest technologies and share knowledge with team members & peersProblem solver, analytical and results driven with innovative thinkingGood communication and presentation skills, both oral and written. Able to interact with various levels within a project team.Able to collaborate and work effectively with different team members as part of a matrix organizationAble to prioritize and multitask between assignments as needed by the business and team deliverable requirementsWorks independently under minimal guidance
Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity and experience with SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors, or any other HCM systemExperience with HR Systems & ProcessesGoogle Cloud Platform or similar cloud platformsInformatica or similar middleware technologyExperience with Robotic Process Automation tools
