Required Skills

• Extensive experience with MySQL database management and administration
• Proven expertise in database schema design and migrations
• Proficiency in writing and fine-tuning SQL queries
• Strong familiarity with performance monitoring and optimization tools
• Hands-on Linux command-line skills for database and server management
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot database performance issues
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and explain technical concepts clearly

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with database backup and recovery strategies
• Knowledge of tools like MySQL Workbench, Percona Toolkit, or similar utilities
• Exposure to cloud-based database solutions such as AWS RDS or Google Cloud SQL
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases

Preferred Education and Experience
