We're looking for a Business Platforms Owner to own our business application landscape end-to-end. Salesforce is at the heart of everything we do — we sell a Salesforce product, and we run our business on it — but this role is broader than any single platform. You will be the person who knows how our tools connect, where the gaps are, and how to close them. You will use AI agents to scale what one person can realistically own.

This is not a support role — it is a founding role in Cloud Protection for Salesforce's IT function. You will report directly to the Head of IT and have a seat at the table where platform decisions get made. No layers, no bureaucracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full Salesforce platform — Sales Cloud, Agentforce Revenue Management, Data 360, and Marketing Cloud Next — including configuration, releases, and roadmap
  • Manage the broader business application stack — from CRM enrichment and sales tools to communication platforms — evaluating, onboarding, integrating, and retiring tools as the business evolves
  • Build and maintain integrations across business systems, ensuring data flows cleanly and reliably between platforms
  • Manage the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring safe and structured deployment across environments
  • Own vendor relationships across all business applications: renewals, licensing, contract management, and evaluating new tools against a buy-before-build principle
  • Work with and build AI agents that run delivery cycles — so you focus on decisions, not repetitive tasks
  • Partner with sales, finance, marketing, and operations to translate business needs into application solutions.

What are we looking for?

  • Deep, hands-on Salesforce experience across multiple clouds — you have delivered on the platform, not just administered it
  • Broad experience with business applications beyond Salesforce — you are comfortable evaluating, owning, and connecting tools across a modern SaaS stack
  • Experience with Salesforce CI/CD practices and structured deployment workflows
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns — you think in data flows and APIs, not just UI clicks
  • A genuine interest in AI agents and agentic workflows — you actively experiment with them and understand why they matter for a lean team
  • Salesforce certifications valued, but real-world delivery track record matters more
  • Comfortable owning a landscape end-to-end without a larger team behind you — you make the call, you own the outcome
  • Strong communication skills — comfortable working directly with non-technical stakeholders and shaping requirements, not just receiving them
  • Experience in a SaaS or B2B technology company preferred
  • Agentforce Revenue Management experience is a significant advantage
