We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join our Security team in Helsinki on a fixed-term basis, covering a parental leave. Depending on the start date, the assignment is estimated to last 7–9 months, with onboarding and offboarding periods included.

In this role, you will support our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in keeping F-Secure's internal operations secure and compliant. Your work spans two key areas: supply chain security assurance and security awareness — both of which are central to how we maintain a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS) across a global organisation.

Day-to-day, you will run supplier security assessments, maintain our tool and vendor inventory, support our security audit programme, and keep our security awareness training on track. You will also contribute to ongoing operational security activities based on your interests and growth ambitions — whether that's incident coordination, risk management, or security performance reporting.

You will work closely with a small, specialist team and collaborate with stakeholders across F-Secure's global locations. This role is based in Helsinki and we work in a hybrid setting, ideally 1–2 days a week at our Helsinki HQ.

Our estimated salary range for this role is 3,600–4,100 EUR/month, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Supply Chain Security Assurance: conduct supplier security reviews, assess supplier risk profiles, evaluate security control implementation, and maintain our inventory of suppliers and software tools.
• Security Awareness: coordinate and follow up on security awareness training for F-Secure employees, including monitoring completion rates and following up with non-completers.
• Audit Programme Support: contribute to planning and executing F-Secure's security audit programme, covering both internal and external audits based on ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards.
• Operational Security: support the CISO in a range of operational security activities, including incident and risk management and security performance reporting.

What are we looking for?

• Relevant educational background (e.g. IT, computer science, or a related technical field), ideally recently graduated or close to completing your studies.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and standards, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and some exposure to cybersecurity assessments, preferably in multi-supplier environments.
• Technically oriented mindset: ability to evaluate tools and systems from a security perspective, and to ask the right questions when assessing supplier controls.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders, from technical colleagues to senior managers, in a multicultural environment.
• Full professional proficiency in English, as our organisational language is English.

You get bonus points for:

• Experience with Jira or similar ticketing tools.
• Understanding of cloud environments and cloud security principles.
• Background in software development or software development processes.
• Experience with AI security topics.
