Research Manager at a legendary Game Studio

Most research roles talk about data. This one is about direction.

We’re looking for a Research Manager who can turn curiosity into clarity, and clarity into action. Someone who doesn’t just run studies, but shapes how a brand understands its audience, makes decisions, and grows.

You’ll sit at the center of Brand & Marketing, helping teams move from “what do we think?” to “what do we know, and what do we do next?” You will own the research roadmap end to end, deciding what questions matter, how to answer them, and how insights show up in real decisions across marketing, product, and leadership. From campaign development to long-term brand positioning, your work will directly influence what gets built, what gets said, and how it lands with players.

What you will do

  • Lead consumer research projects from brief to final presentation, including objectives, methodology, vendor management, stakeholder alignment, and reporting.
  • Own and evolve the research roadmap, making sure it supports brand, marketing, and wider business priorities.
  • Share insights that help shape campaigns, positioning, strategy, and decision making.
  • Lead long term research initiatives, including brand tracking, audience understanding, and segmentation.
  • Act as the go to person for audience segmentation frameworks, helping teams use them effectively across the organisation.

What we are looking for

  • We are looking for someone with a degree in Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field, plus 5 or more years of experience in consumer research, insights, or market research. Equivalent experience is also welcome.
  • Experience leading research projects end to end, including vendor management and stakeholder alignment.
  • Confidence working with both quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Someone who can turn complex findings into insights teams can use.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and are comfortable influencing cross functional teams.
  • Working independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience from an agency, gaming, entertainment, or digital consumer product environment is a plus.
  • Experience with brand tracking, segmentation, and long term research programmes is valuable.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SPSS, Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms is an advantage.

This is a role for someone who loves understanding audiences, digging into player behaviour, and building research that creates real impact. At the heart of it all is the team. You will work with people who care about understanding players and creating meaningful experiences.

Practical

This is a 18 months temporary role that runs until November 30, 2027, starting on June 1, 2026. The role is based in Stockholm with a hybrid setup, with three days per week in the office.
