Main goal

UEFA is seeking a highly skilled IBC Venue Manager to support the delivery of the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) for UEFA EURO 2028. The ideal candidate has a strong background in venue operations, large‑scale live event environments, and organisational coordination, with proven experience managing complex projects under tight timelines.

Reporting to the Senior Broadcast Engineering Expert, you will play a key role in venue planning, documentation, supplier management, and technical proposal analysis to ensure the seamless delivery and operation of the IBC for the tournament.

Key responsibilities

Venue Planning & Operations

  • Support the Senior Broadcast Engineer in the design, planning, and implementation of the IBC for UEFA EURO 2028
  • Act as the primary point of contact between UEFA and the IBC venue for all planning and coordination activities
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure departmental requirements are met within the defined engineering budget
  • Present the IBC to the Broadcast Partners at both Broadcast Partner Workshops to be held prior to the start of UEFA EURO 2028
  • Be on‑site during the full IBC installation and infrastructure deployment period (late March 2028 – late July 2028) to oversee and manage suppliers, contractors, and venue operations.

Technical Proposal Writing & Analysis

  • Contribute to the drafting of service proposals, functional specifications, and resource planning documents
  • Support the evaluation of RFP/RFI responses, with a focus on feasibility, cost effectiveness, and vendor suitability
  • Provide analytical input to ensure proposed solutions align with UEFA standards and operational needs

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the television production industry, with a focus on venue‑based and/or live event operations
  • Experience in live event planning, technical scheduling, and resource coordination

Languages:

  • English / Proficient

Other requirements:

- Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected

- MS Office / Proficient

- Strong knowledge of project management, including supplier acquisition and procurement workflows

- Excellent interpersonal skills for managing relationships with suppliers, contractors, and broadcast partners

- Solid understanding of broadcast workflows and live production technologies

- Proficiency with tools and technical layout/documentation platforms such as Visio or equivalent
