At Aspia, we stand with the leaders, teams and companies who dare to grow. Growth requires clarity, courage and partnership – and we are committed to creating the space where ambition can thrive.

We are now looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Group BI & Analytics team within Group Finance, based in Espoo, Finland.

Aspia is an international group specializing in finance, payroll and HR outsourcing, powered by modern technology and deep human expertise. Across the Nordics, we help organizations simplify complexity so they can focus their energy on what truly drives progress.

Role description

Our team’s mission is to be the trusted partner for Aspia’s financial and operational business intelligence – where analytical insight, data governance and modern BI technology come together to support informed, data-driven decision-making across the Group.

This is a central Group-level role focused on combining analytical thinking, business understanding, stakeholder collaboration and hands-on BI development. The role is designed for a BI professional who wants to influence how data, metrics and insights are defined and used across the Group.

You will work across the BI value chain: from understanding business needs, to developing reporting in Power BI, to enabling better follow-up and decision-making across the Group. At Aspia, BI and analytics responsibilities are split between Group Finance (content, logic and analytical development) and Group IT (platform & infrastructure).

Your responsibilities include:

Data analysis, metrics and follow-up models

  • Perform analyses using SQL and Power BI to support Group-wide initiatives and decision-making.
  • Understand and contribute to our KPIs and follow-up models – focusing on both why we measure something, not just how.
  • Ensure data quality and analytical logic meet Group-level business and finance requirements.

BI & Analytics development

  • Design, develop and continuously improve Power BI reports focused on financial and business performance.
  • Influence the structure and design of the Group Lakehouse and BI models from an analytical and business perspective.
  • Work hands-on with SQL and BI model drafts to shape logic, definitions and analytical use cases – with Group IT Data & Analytics owning the technical production build, performance optimization and long-term platform maintenance.

Collaboration & stakeholder work

  • Act as a BI partner for key stakeholders across countries and Group functions.
  • Guide and enable local BI key users through training, guidance and collaboration.
  • Work closely with the Data Team in Group IT on solution design, requirements and analytical development.

New and evolving areas

  • Contribute to new initiatives within BI, analytics and applied technologies, including AI-related use cases.
  • Bring curiosity, experimentation and continuous learning into the BI & analytics practice.

Great Place to Work

  • Achievements are recognized, and good work receives the appreciation it deserves.

  • You will be supported by a valuable network of colleagues and friendly teammates.

  • You will receive lunch and recreational benefits, as well as comprehensive leisure-time accident insurance.

  • Diverse training opportunities through relevant internal and external courses.

  • Salary is determined based on the role, experience, and skills.

  • The average daily working time is 7.5 hours, with flexible working hours in place.

  • Guided exercise sessions twice a week during the workday led by a personal trainer.

  • Team budget for shared activities and strengthening team spirit!

Skills & Requirements

What we expect from you

We are looking for someone who is naturally curious and motivated to continuously learn – and who enjoys developing analytical solutions both collaboratively and independently. You are comfortable taking ownership while actively collaborating with stakeholders and teammates to shape the best possible outcomes.

That said, the following will also help you succeed:

Skills & experience

  • Experience developing BI solutions, ideally with Power BI (data modeling and visualizations).
  • SQL skills sufficient for data analysis; more advanced SQL is an advantage.
  • Understanding of KPIs, performance follow-up models, and finance or business analysis.
  • Experience or interest in predictive analytics from a business, finance and/or tech tool perspective is an advantage.
  • A relevant academic degree in business, analytics, finance or a related field.
  • A curious and pragmatic hands-on approach in how AI can support BI and analytics in a value-driven way.

How you work

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and an eye for both detail and the bigger picture.
  • Ability to structure and prioritize your work in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset. You enjoy helping others and working as part of a team.
  • Clear and confident communication skills in Finnish or Swedish, and English (spoken and written).
  • You are comfortable working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • You appreciate a bit of humour in between solving complex problems.

We want you to thrive

At Aspia, you will join a community where collaboration, curiosity, and care are central. We genuinely value each other and our clients. You will work alongside a knowledgeable team where trust, respect, and knowledge sharing form the foundation of everyday work. Together, we build a culture where everyone can grow and succeed. You will also be part of our Nordic growth journey – supporting and building the practices that enable it.

We offer flexible working hours and a hybrid working model, with our home office located in Espoo, Keilaniemi. We have employee benefits that support health and wellbeing.

Join the team and grow with us!

Next, we would like to hear from you. Please submit your CV and cover letter (in PDF format) via the link below as soon as possible, and no later than 17th of May 2026.
