THE OPPORTUNITY IN A NUTSHELL

You? An Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and building scalable data platforms? We’re looking for a Data Engineer to excel in the design, development, and optimization of modern data products that directly power business decision-making.

Role? As a Data Engineer, you will architect and own advanced ETL/ELT pipelines, structured data models, and scalable analytics workflows. You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, mentor engineers, and ensure our data ecosystem is robust, high-quality, and future-ready.

Tech Stack? Data & Infrastructure: Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/GCP, Kafka, Streaming/Batch Pipelines, & Airflow. Engineering & AI: Data Cloud (dbt), CI/CD, Data Quality, AI Agents, & RAG Application Integration.

Team? The Common Analytical Model team is a high-impact team of data engineers and business analysts dedicated to closing the gap between the business needs and the data. The team serves as a collaborative data hub for all brands, focusing on best practice modelling, performance, cost efficiency and privacy compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO?

• Lead the design and optimization of complex ETL/ELT and data modeling solutions
• Build and orchestrate resilient, scalable streaming and batch data pipelines
• Implement CI/CD best practices for analytics engineering
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance at scale
• Provide architectural guidance and proactive**, data-driven** recommendations
• Mentor and support analytics engineers across the team
• Drive continuous improvement in usability and value of data products
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align data requirements with business goals.

WHO ARE YOU?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Extensive SQL, ETL, and data modeling experience
• Deep expertise in data platform optimization and engineering best practices
• Strong experience with structured & semi-structured data
• Ability to communicate complex technical decisions to senior stakeholders
• Strategic mindset for solving business challenges into data products.
• Demonstrable expertise in programming for data processing and optimization purposes

Plus

• Knowledge of privacy concepts and principles, GDPR
• Experience in reporting tools like Tableau or BI tools.
• Experience in Data Mesh environments.
