CMM Programmer

Job Description

Must-haves

• CMM programming and operation in a machining or manufacturing setting
• PC-DMIS proficiency (strongly preferred)
• Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation
• Dimensional inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges)
• ISO 9001 quality system experience

Nice-to-haves

• IATF 16949 or AS9100
• Creo, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD
• CNC milling and turning familiarity
• QC-Calc or other SPC software
• Root cause analysis and corrective action experience

Day-to-day they'll be doing

• Writing and optimizing CMM inspection routines
• First article, in-process and final inspections
• Ballooned drawings and FAI documentation
• Inspection reports for internal teams and customers
• Training operators on basic CMM use
• Helping design fixtures with the tool room
