We’re hiring a Project Manager!

As a Project Manager in Hurtigruten’s Transformation & Technology department, you will play a key role in managing projects and ensuring strong execution of Hurtigruten’s transformation agenda. You will work cross‑functionally to deliver projects on time, and contribute to building a professional and scalable project management culture.

You will help improve ways of working, and support a culture of collaboration and execution excellence. You will ensure robust project governance by maintaining control of scope, timeline and risks, while delivering valuable reporting to stakeholders.

This role is well suited for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, managing projects end‑to‑end, and driving meaningful process improvements in a dynamic, international environment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in project management or a similar role (min. 1 year)
  • Have an interest for digital tools and technology to improve project execution, transparency, and collaboration
  • Brings strong communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
  • Is motivated to collaborate, improve processes, and make a real impact

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and/or support complex transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, scope, and quality.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with executives, business units, and key stakeholders to drive initiatives forward.
  • Apply sound judgement, data analysis, and appropriate project methods to solve problems of diverse scope.
  • Support continuous process improvement and operational efficiency across the organisation.
  • Analyse and map “as‑is” processes and design improved “to‑be” processes with measurable impact.
  • Identify and communicate inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and standardisation opportunities aligned with company goals.
  • Operate independently as an experienced professional, providing guidance and knowledge sharing to colleagues.
  • Take ownership of tasks, support ad‑hoc initiatives, and comply with applicable routines, instructions, and procedures.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in project management or a related role.
  • Project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new information, situations, and requirements.
  • Understanding of Hurtigruten products is an advantage.
