Brand and Market Insights Analyst at a World-Renowned Game Studio

We are looking for a curious, analytical, and commercially minded Brand and Market Insights Analyst to help our client better understand their brand, their players, and the fast moving world of competitive gaming.

This is a role for you if you love turning complex data into sharp, useful insights. You know how to spot patterns, decode market movement, and connect brand perception with player behaviour, competitor activity, and strategic opportunity.

Working closely with teams across Brand, Marketing, Product, Research, and Insights, you will help shape smarter decisions, stronger campaigns, and a deeper understanding of what drives success in games, entertainment, and marketing.

The role

In this role, you will take ownership of brand health tracking, market intelligence, and competitor analysis across key markets. You will look at how players think, what competitors are doing, where the market is heading, and how those signals can support better brand and marketing decisions.

You will bring structure to complexity. You will take data from surveys, dashboards, market tools, and research sources, then turn it into clear recommendations that teams can act on.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about gaming, player behaviour, brand building, and the bigger market forces shaping the industry.

What you will do

  • Own brand health tracking, including brand audits, quarterly updates, and perception analysis across key markets
  • Lead competitor and market intelligence across game systems, live ops, monetisation, and industry strategy
  • Identify emerging trends, player shifts, and early signals that can shape brand marketing activity
  • Translate data, research, and market signals into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Partner with teams across Marketing, Brand, Product, Research, and Insights to turn insight into action
  • Build and maintain scalable frameworks and tools for ongoing market and competitor monitoring
  • Help the business understand what players care about, how the market is moving, and where new opportunities may appear

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field and 1–3 years of experience in brand strategy, market intelligence, consulting, or analytics OR equivalent experience.

You should bring experience in analysing market trends, competitor landscapes, audience segments, and data sources, with the ability to turn findings into useful recommendations.

You are confident working with both quantitative and qualitative insights, including surveys, dashboards, market tools, and research outputs. Just as important, you know how to communicate your findings clearly to different stakeholders across the business.

It is a plus if you have

  • Experience from the gaming industry
  • A strong understanding of game systems, core loops, monetisation, and live ops
  • Experience with tools such as Sensor Tower, GameRefinery, YouGov BrandIndex, or similar platforms
  • Experience building brand tracking or competitor intelligence programmes
  • Strong skills in tools such as SPSS, Excel, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
  • A genuine curiosity about player behaviour, game design, and market dynamics
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise well, and move projects forward in changing environments

At its core, this role is about helping the business understand people. What players feel. What competitors are doing. What the market is signalling. What the brand can do next.

You will join a team of passionate, curious, and creative people who are working together to shape the future of their games and brand. For someone who enjoys insight, strategy, gaming, and meaningful impact, this is a brilliant opportunity to help build experiences that truly resonate.

Practical

This is a 18 months temporary role that runs until November 30, 2027, starting on June 1, 2026. The role is based in Stockholm with a hybrid setup, with three days per week in the office.
