NEW - Full Stack Java Developer Contract - HireDesired - Mid level (2 openings)
Jersey City, NJ location
Hybrid - 3 days onsite

Must Have: Java & PL/SQL + Angular secondary

Skillset required

§ Strong experience in Full Stack development using Java (Spring, Spring Boot) for building scalable, secure enterprise applications.

§ Hands-on experience developing responsive front-end applications using Angular (components, services, routing, RxJS, REST integrations).

o Database & Backend Data Layer

§ Proven expertise in Oracle Database and PL/SQL, including stored procedures, packages, performance tuning, and complex SQL queries.

§ Experience designing and maintaining data models and integrating PL/SQL logic with Java-based services.

o Cloud & AWS Technologies

§ Experience working in AWS environments, including deploying and supporting applications on AWS infrastructure.

§ Hands-on exposure to AWS messaging/queue services (e.g., SQS or equivalent queue-based asynchronous processing) for decoupled, event-driven architectures.

o AI & Developer Productivity Tools

§ Experience using AWS Kiro for AI-assisted development workflows, including intelligent code generation, debugging, test automation, or spec-driven development.

§ Familiarity with integrating AI-assisted tooling into day-to-day development and test automation processes to improve developer productivity.

o Integration & DevOps (optional add-ons if needed)

§ Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating frontend, backend, and database layers.

§ Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control, and cloud-native deployment practices.
