What you'll do 💄
We're not looking for someone to just manage suppliers. We're looking for a sharp, curious and commercially driven partner who sees the bigger picture, dares to challenge the ordinary and wants to shape the future of beauty retail with us. As our Buyer, you'll own the full supplier relationship, from day-to-day collaboration to long-term strategic growth, working across all our markets and taking charge of some of our top-performing global brands. You'll act as the key link between our commercial teams and suppliers, making sure every campaign, contract and collaboration delivers value for all parties.

In other words, you will:

  • Manage and develop relationships with key suppliers and brands
  • Lead campaign activations and joint marketing initiatives
  • Own contract negotiations and annual agreements — and push hard when it matters
  • Follow up on KPIs and sales performance, and take action when needed
  • Drive category growth through creativity, analysis and strong commercial insight
  • Work closely with the cross-functional team to ensure assortment is up to date and stock align with campaign plans and category priorities

Who you are ✹
We're not just looking for a Buyer. We're looking for someone who understands that great supplier relationships don't just happen, they're negotiated, built and developed with real commercial intent. Someone who can mix creativity with commercial instinct, manage complex negotiations like a pro and bring fresh energy to one of Lyko's most dynamic teams.
We would say that you're a natural relationship builder with sharp commercial instincts and a proven track record in negotiations. Someone who can switch between data and dialogue, just as comfortable crunching numbers in Excel as leading a tough supplier conversation with confidence and precision.

You probably recognise yourself here:

  • Experience in a buying or category role - the industry matters less than the skills you bring. What counts is that you're comfortable handling sometimes tough conversations and know how to win the supplier over with smart and innovative ideas that work for the both of you.
  • You know how to build relationships and handle supplier conversations with confidence, even when they’re tough
  • Structured, detail-oriented and reliable - people know that when you own something, it gets done
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of driving supplier growth
  • Skilled in Excel and comfortable working with data tools such as BI or similar
  • Degree in business, purchasing or a related field
  • Naturally proactive, structured and able to handle multiple priorities, we're a company in constant change, so a high degree of self-management and initiative will take you far in this role
  • Fluent in English and Swedish

About the role and the team đŸ€
As a Buyer at Lyko, you will be a key part of our Purchasing team and report directly to the Global Category Manager. This is a permanent position with a 6 month probation period based in Stockholm, starting as soon as possible or at a mutually agreed date.
