Region EMEA is a key region within Business Sweden and operates from 21 locations, across Europe and the Middle East. The Casablanca office represents the regional hub for North and West Africa and covering 25 dynamic markets.
We also work as one team with our colleagues in Eastern and Southern Africa meaning we work with projects across the whole continent. We focus to grow the advisory part of our business, and to become even more relevant in ecosystems such as transport, energy, ICT and health to help propel growth of Swedish companies internationally.
To help drive this journey, we are currently looking to grow our team in Casablanca.
North Africa is undergoing a period of transformation. The region provide many opportunities over a large spectrum of industries for companies who want to grow their international revenue, for example within the prioritized sectors of the region.
For a large majority of the Swedish companies in the region, the market-share has been increasing significantly during the last couple of years, as a result of market adopted solutions and local market presence. Furthermore, many of these companies have extensive expansion plans in the medium and long term, which is a clear indication of this region's future potential.
Our relevancy to customers depends on our ability to bring market insights and a best-in-class strategic, consultative advisory. What do we expect from you?
We are currently looking to strengthen our ambitious team with a driven Consultant, based in Casablanca (Morocco). You are interested in a fast-paced environment, a steep learning curve and to work in a dedicated team supporting Swedish clients in their growth journey in North & West Africa, as well as in Africa and globally.
As a Consultant with Business Sweden, you will work in project teams, alongside other consultants and project managers. Tasks include data gathering and analysis as well as presentation of findings, business partner searches on behalf of clients, project support as well as helping with specific tasks such as the arrangement and facilitation of business meetings and other support to our clients.
In addition, you will answer questions from clients and will be involved in marketing and promoting prioritized industrial sectors. You will interact with many stakeholders ranging from clients, governmental agencies, colleagues and team members.
You will also be part of strategic engagements aiming at developing and promoting high-level trade relations between Sweden and key markets in the region. We also closely work with supporting Swedish companies in collaborating with multilateral development banks (World Bank, African Development Bank, EIB and EBRD).
It is a plus if you have professional experience from the North and West Africa region, and/or working experience from a consulting or business development role. You might travel in the region with our clients.
