We are now operating in more than nine European countries and intend to further strengthen our business and market position in Europe through both organic and inorganic growth. To support this growth agenda, we are looking for an experienced Corporate Development Manager to join our Strategy and Corporate Development team.

As a Corporate Development Manager you provide hands-on support and catalyzation to strategically important projects connected to our value creation plan. You work closely with management and the different entities in our Pan-European organization, contributing focus, energy and structure. You are key to practically and pragmatically driving the realization of Adapteo's ambitious growth and development agenda.

The role reports to the VP Strategy and Corporate Development and you will be a member of the Adapteo Group Strategy and Corporate Development team. The position is based at our office in Solna, Stockholm (SE). Some Nordic and European business travel will be required for meetings and local support.

What you will do

In this role, you will provide practical and hands-on support to strategic and key operational initiatives chosen by our management team as well as local and functional business leaders. You will typically be involved in several projects at the same time across our portfolio. We care only about real impact and operate a focused and highly structured value creation model centred around a market strategy and target operation model, a full potential plan and defined value creation plan. The value creation plan is updated continuously and currently focus on operational smartness, industry leadership and customer proximity. In the role, you will get significant exposure to senior business leaders, group business functions and local business unit management. Projects span the whole value chain e.g. IT, operations, sustainability, commercial and finance. Working closely with business leaders and stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring that our strategy is up to date and sound and that we effectively build a

strong organisation to deliver on it through the initiatives in the value creation plan. As a direct report to the VP of Strategy and Corporate Development, you have complete visibility into, and the opportunity to influence, our strategy and value creation plan.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and support business projects across operations, finance, commercial and/or IT
  • Drive impact from successful project delivery - from pre-study to implementation
  • Support our business leaders with strategic and operational development capacity
  • Manage stakeholder dialogues and internal communication about value creation projects
  • Support, coach and develop business units in project management and value delivery

Skills & Requirements

Your profile

To be successful in this role:

  • You should be an agile high performer with strong drive and integrity
  • You have a structured way of working and solid analytical skills
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you get to use your social skills and creativity to get around obstacles and build strong relationships
  • You are proactive, collaborative and committed and enjoy interaction and relationships with people in an international environment
  • You are an excellent listener and verbal and written communicator with a solid consultancy toolbox
  • You hold an academic degree (preferably M.Sc.) within business management, finance or engineering and have around 3-5 years relevant experience from e.g. management consulting or similar role, preferably in an international setting
  • You already have a broad range of experiences from - for example - transaction services, organizational transformation, commercial excellence or business process optimization.
  • Ideally you have worked both as an advisor (consulting) and in a more operative role where you have been implementing and delivering real impact
  • You must be fluent in English. It is an advantage if you are also fluent in one of the Nordic languages
