Sales Support Specialist

We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Sales Support Specialist within our Sales capability. This position reports to Director of Sales and will work in Bristol, IN.

About the position

As a Sales Support Specialist in the Sales team, you will play a key role in strengthening relationships with OEM customers and ensuring smooth, reliable sales experience. This position supports the broader Sales organization by helping translate customer needs into clear internal actions, coordinating with cross functional teams, and maintaining the operational backbone that keeps orders, pricing, and documentation running efficiently. You’ll contribute to the accuracy of our sales pipeline, assist in aligning demand with production, and help enhance the tools and processes that enable the team to deliver exceptional service and performance.

Your main responsibilities

  • Serve as an internal point of contact for OEM customers, handling inquiries, order status updates, pricing questions, and documentation needs.
  • Prepare quotes, enter and manage purchase orders, and coordinate delivery schedules and changes.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to communicate requirements, support product changes, and assist with issue resolution.
  • Support forecasting by reviewing customer demand, tracking backlog, and communicating shifts to internal teams.
  • Provide required customer documentation and maintain accurate records in CRM/ERP systems.
  • Assist with pricing updates, contract terms, and RFQ/RFP support.
  • Prepare basic sales reports and dashboards to support account reviews and planning.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance accuracy, communication, and overall customer experience.

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be a solid experience within sales and customer service – as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or inside sales, preferably within manufacturing or OEM environments.
  • Experience handling B2B customers, especially high volume or contract accounts.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and CRM tools
  • Familiarity with OEM documentation and technical datasheets
  • Experience with order entry, quote preparation, pricing updates, and backlog management.
  • Strong Excel/data skills
  • Understanding of forecasting, demand changes, or supply chain constraints
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally with various teams
