As Etteplan ILS Engineer (Integrated Logistics Support) you are ensuring delivery and function of Customers’ complex systems, with high reliability and for a long time.

Our customers are often in defense, aviation, critical infrastructure, energy, automotive and alike.

We are now recruiting for our team at Etteplan The Netherlands. The team works primarily in entrusted consulting assignments with well-known and technically advanced Dutch companies and organizations.

You will work with Requirements Analysis, Systems Engineering ILS, System Safety and Maintenance Planning as well as analysis of LCC (Life Cycle Cost). We would like you to have experience from industries with very high demands on availability and reliability, such as the defense, aviation or similar industries.

To be able to take on this challenge, you need to be self-driven and have a great deal of personal commitment. Above all, you need to be curious and constantly want to search for better solutions to technical problems. You don't need to have all the answers, but the ability and courage to ask the right questions is a prerequisite for taking on this role.

As the role may involve a security clearance and requires Dutch citizenship.


To succeed in this role, we would like to see:

  • Education as Engineer (M.Sc. or B.Sc.); not mandatory but a plus.
  • Understands the importance of requirements for a successful development project and is interested in developing requirements specifications.
  • Experience in roles such as requirements analyst or as a technical project manager for systems with high demands on reliability and availability.
  • Knowledge of methods in Systems Engineering in accordance with the standards ISO/IEC 15288 or 29110 is an advantage.


Your main tasks will be:

  • Analyze and document requirements based on customer and internal needs.
  • Define and balance requirements with suppliers and internal specialists.
  • Ensure that requirements are met during the course of the project.
  • Perform tests and verify requirements according to relevant standards and processes.
  • Document test results and create technical reports.
  • Collaborate effectively with project members and stakeholders.
