Job Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for owning and leading Zenvo Automotive's accounting function, ensuring that financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal control are executed with precision, discipline, and integrity. The role establishes the governance, structure, and accountability required to support a high-performance and growing organization, and plays a central part in enabling reliable decision-making, operational transparency, and scalable growth across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead the company's accounting function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations across all core accounting areas
• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including review and approval of journals, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations
• Ensure full integrity of the general ledger and maintain end-to-end ownership of the balance sheet, including cash, payables, receivables, fixed assets, and other key accounting areas
• Lead statutory reporting, annual reporting, VAT reporting, tax-related accounting processes, and year-end close activities in compliance with Danish legal and regulatory requirements
• Lead the construction of the efficient AR/AP systems to enhance operational effifficiency and associated internal controls
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and governance processes that support both compliance and business discipline
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow follow-up, and working capital visibility from an accounting and reporting perspective
• Support the new ERP system implementation, migration from Uniconta to Business Central and ensure that finance systems, master data, and reporting structures are fit for purpose and aligned with business and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience within accounting
• Solid experience with full-cycle accounting, monthly, quarterly and annual closings and statutory reporting
• Strong knowledge of Danish bookkeeping rules, VAT, tax processes, annual reporting requirements, and applicable accounting standards
• Proven experience in leading accounting processes, driving structure, and ensuring compliance in a complex business environment
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and finance process optimization
• Experience from a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environment is highly preferred
