This position is based in Stockholm reporting directly to the Head of Nordic People & Culture. This is a new role in the organization, offering a unique opportunity to shape and develop employee relations and labour law practices across the Nordics. Responsibilities

HR and operational support

  • Support Country HR and managers in complex employee relations and labour law cases.
  • Coach managers on performance, behaviour, employee relations, and difficult people situations.
  • Ensure a consistent and professional way of working across all Nordic countries.
  • Work with unions and contribute to constructive and long-term relationships.

Investigations, labour law and compliance

  • Conduct and manage workplace investigations in a fair and professional way.
  • Ensure correct application of labour law, collective agreements, and internal policies.
  • Support the organisation in reducing legal and operational risks.

Processes, governance and development

  • Own and develop processes, routines, and ways of working within employee relations in the Nordics.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and internal standards in each country.
  • Take part in HR and compliance projects and initiatives.

Proactive risk and labour law monitoring

  • Work proactively to identify, analyse, and manage labour law and organisational risks.
  • Follow and interpret changes in Nordic and European labour law and translate them into practical HR guidance.

Communication and decision support

  • Ensure high-quality written communication, including reports, analysis, and decision materials.
  • Support clarity and structure in complex HR and change processes.

Skills & Requirements

Education

  • University degree in HR, law, labour law, or a related field

Experience and skills

  • Several years of experience in a HR and/or labour law/legal work
  • Experience from complex, preferably Nordic or international organisations
  • Strong ability to work both operationally and strategically in a business environment
  • Experience in employee relations cases and union cooperation
  • Strong analytical skills and high integrity when handling sensitive matters
  • Very good written communication skills, including experience writing reports and structured documents
  • Ability to create structure, drive processes, and work proactively in a complex organisation
  • Fluent in English and one Nordic language both written and spoken , both written and spoken

Good to know 
This is a permanent position with the desired start as soon as possible.  6 months’ probationary period is applied. As part of the recruitment process, SHL personality assessments will be used.
