We are currently hiring a Product Designer (UI Designer) to be based in Amsterdam.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Own the end-to-end product design for our consumer-facing app — from early concepts and wireframes through to polished, pixel-perfect UI
  • Design mobile-first experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and truly consumer-grade in every detail
  • Contribute to and continuously evolve our design system, ensuring consistency in visual language and interactions across the platform
  • Plan and run user research and usability testing to validate ideas, challenge assumptions, and refine your designs
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to deliver solutions that are both beautifully crafted and technically feasible
  • Bring a strong point of view to product discussions — at Alleo, design is a strategic driver, not a downstream task
  • Translate complex benefit offerings into simple, clear, and engaging user experiences that customers can easily understand and use

You'll be successful in this role if you:

  • A strong drive to consistently raise the bar on visual and interaction quality across the product
  • The ability to move fast without compromising on craft — you know when something is “good enough” and when it needs refinement
  • A collaborative, opinionated, and reliable mindset that earns the trust of Engineers and Product Managers alike
  • A genuine curiosity about health, well-being, and the everyday lives of Dutch employees — and the ability to translate those insights into thoughtful design decisions

What you should bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product and UX Design, ideally within a consumer app, fintech environment, or a high-growth scale-up
  • A strong shipping mindset — you’re comfortable moving quickly and delivering impact in a fast-paced environment
  • A portfolio that showcases excellent visual taste, mobile-first thinking, and the ability to simplify complex user flows
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, including design systems, component libraries, auto layout, and prototyping
  • Proven ability to design for mobile-first products, with a solid understanding of iOS and Android design patterns
  • Comfort embracing new technologies and adapting quickly — including advanced use of AI to enhance both your workflow and the product experience
  • A sharp eye for detail, with a passion for crafting premium, consistent, and engaging consumer-grade interfaces

Your language profile:

  • English — Fluent (mandatory)
  • Dutch — Strong plus
