Area Visual Merchandiser (South Korea)

Role Overview

Area Visual Merchandiser(South Korea) is responsible for the execution and maintenance of Visual Merchandising across the sales network in Korea, including Retail and Wholesale doors.
This role ensures consistent implementation of brand visual guidelines while adapting VM strategies to seasonal collections, sales performance, and individual store profiles. The position works closely with stores, commercial team, and cross-functional teams to deliver a compelling and commercially effective in-store experience. The position reports into Head of Visual Merchandising APAC.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising Execution & Performance Monitoring

  • Execute and maintain Visual Merchandising across the sales network (Retail and Wholesale) in line with brand visual guidelines and standards
  • Ensure consistent and high-quality VM execution while adapting displays to seasonal collections, sales performance, and individual store profiles
  • Regularly monitor in-store VM through store visits, reports, and visual tools, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with stores to continuously maintain and elevate VM standards

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with Head of Visual Merchandising APAC, store teams, and retail management to ensure alignment and effective VM execution
  • Provide clear VM guidance, feedback, and ongoing support to store teams
  • Act as a key liaison between the Head of Visual and commercial team for all VM-related matters

Store Openings & Projects

  • Support new store openings, renovations, and special projects
  • Coordinate VM preparation including layout planning, execution, and on-site installation
  • Arrange and manage VM materials, fixtures, and props required for store openings and seasonal changes
  • Ensure all VM execution is delivered on time and in accordance with brand standards

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Around 5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising in Korea, including in-store VM experience
  • Strong passion for fashion, luxury, and brand storytelling, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
  • Proven styling ability and visual sensibility, with the capability to translate creative vision into impactful in-store presentations
  • Solid understanding of retail environments and customer experience
  • Ability to work both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Business-level Korean and English proficiency
  • Willingness to travel
