Main goal

The Project Assistant provides high-level, organisational support to the Head of Ticketing, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. This role will also support the ticket sales account management team with diverse administrative and coordination tasks for events including UEFA EURO 2028, UEFA Women’s EURO 2029 and UEFA club competition finals.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the overall management and coordination of a team of over 25
  • Preparing agendas and developing presentations for senior and executive management
  • Coordinating HR processes including recruitment from job posting to onboarding and tracking team leave
  • Leading and coordinating onboarding for all newcomers to ensure smooth integration into the unit
  • Providing cross-division coordination and support on ad hoc projects, acting as a key liaison for the Ticketing unit
  • Handling administrative and operational tasks such as organising travel and logistics for the team, managing expense submissions, scheduling meetings and planning team building events (logistics, catering, materials, etc.)
  • Overseeing the full purchasing life cycle, ensuring accurate processing, timely follow-ups and coordination through to supplier payment approval
  • Assisting with the monitoring and managing of ticketing budgets, providing regular updates and supporting financial oversight
  • Documenting, maintaining and improving internal communication

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Experience:

  • from 1 to 3 years of experience in administration, project management or event management

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management or relevant area

Languages:

  • Proficient in English

Other requirements:

  • Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and structured working method
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work simultaneously on various events
  • Ability to cope with a high workload
  • Fast learner
