We are currently hiring a Content Marketeer to be based in Amsterdam.

Your mission at Epassi | Alleo

As a Content Marketeer at Epassi | Alleo, you will be the creative force behind the experience of every Dutch user on our platform. Based in Amsterdam, you will own the full content lifecycle; from strategy and planning to copywriting and performance optimisation — ensuring that our users don't just understand their benefits, but genuinely love using them. Working closely with the Engagement Manager and cross-functional teams, you will craft personalised, engaging, and clear communications that turn everyday employees into active Alleo fans. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity, data, and agility.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Owning the content calendar end-to-end, ensuring all user communications are tightly scheduled and consistently relevant
  • Creating clear, persuasive, and punchy copy across all user-facing channels — newsletters, automated email flows, in-app messages, and push notifications
  • Driving a 'Netflix-style' personalised user experience through tailored content based on user profiles, life stages, and in-app behaviour
  • Co-creating and executing large-scale thematic and user-retention campaigns from concept through to final copy
  • Monitoring performance metrics alongside the Lifecycle & Automation Manager and applying data-driven insights to continuously improve content
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and internal experts to translate complex benefit information into simple, engaging language

You'll be successful in this role if you:

  • Consistently achieve strong open rates, click-through rates, and engagement on automated flows, newsletters, and retention campaigns
  • Translate complex employee benefit information into snappy, easy-to-understand content that users can immediately act on
  • Maintain a flawless content calendar while capitalising on topical marketing opportunities with quick turnarounds
  • Use data and A/B testing to iteratively improve content performance in close collaboration with the Lifecycle & Automation Manager
  • Ultimately move users from simply "understanding" Epassi to becoming genuine, active fans of the platform

What you'll be doing (daily):

  • Drafting, editing, and refining short-form copy for in-app messages and push notifications, and long-form copy for newsletters and automated email flows
  • Managing the content calendar to ensure all communications go out at the right time across every channel
  • Monitoring news, holidays, and cultural moments to quickly draft and publish relevant, topical content
  • Reviewing daily and weekly engagement metrics to identify what's working and making immediate tweaks
  • Meeting with internal experts to gather complex information and translate it into accessible, engaging copy
  • Using AI tools as a brainstorming and drafting assistant, while applying your human editorial touch to finalise content
  • Working within engagement platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or Customer.io to set up and schedule content

What you should bring:

  • Proven experience in content creation with a specific focus on email marketing, personalised user journeys, and copywriting
  • Demonstrated expertise in versatile copywriting across multiple touchpoints — from high-conversion short-form copy to engaging long-form content
  • End-to-end campaign management experience, from creative concept through to execution
  • A strong background in content operations and calendar management across multiple concurrent communication streams
  • Hands-on experience analysing content performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, engagement data) to A/B test and optimise copy
  • Familiarity with modern Customer Engagement Platforms (Braze, Iterable, or Customer.io) or a high aptitude to rapidly adopt them
  • Proficiency in using AI tools for content ideation and drafting, combined with strong editorial judgment
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and HBO working and thinking level

Your language profile:

  • Dutch - Native / C2 (mandatory)
  • English - B2-C1 (mandatory)

Your track record:

  • Demonstrated success in developing and optimising data-driven email marketing strategies and personalised automated lifecycle flows
  • A portfolio showcasing versatile copywriting across both short-form and long-form content in a B2C or user-facing context
  • Proven ability to work with subject matter experts and translate technical or complex information into engaging, accessible copy
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic scale-up or similarly agile environment
