We’re expanding the team and looking for a Junior Financial Controller with 0–3 years of experience to join our journey – perfect if you’re at the start of your career and ready to make an impact alongside our Financial Controller.

The Role
TimeEdit has a well-run, highly automated finance function (Younium, Bright Analytics, Looker Studio, HubSpot). This role is not about building the basics, but about stepping up our game to use financial and operational insight to continue fueling our scale-up journey. Given our growth trajectory, the role will evolve and expand over time.
As a Junior Financial Controller at TimeEdit, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing our AR and AP processes, including contract management, invoicing and collection
- Project administration and monthly reporting of relevant KPIs
- Overseeing our expense management systems and making sure reporting is done timely and accurate
- Being responsible for all customer contact in regards to invoicing, order management etc
- Supporting the Controller in month-end close, reconciliations, and key financials. Day-to-day accounting for each entity is outsourced, but consolidation and reporting are handled in-house
- Seeking process improvements and automation in accounting

Skills & Requirements
What you'll bring:
- Interest and/or experience in SaaS mechanics and levers: ARR, ACV, NRR/GRR, churn, CAC payback, LTV, cohort and funnel analytics
- Data-savvy and skilled in using Google Sheets/Excel
- Exceptional numerical and analytical problem-solving skills
- Collaborator with strong planning and organisational abilitie
- Low-ego, ambitious mindset

TimeEdit was established in Sweden in the mid 90’s by an astrophysicist making a timetabling application from an Excel sheet on crack. Since then, the system has been professionalised and developed further to arguably become the world’s most modern fleet of resource management tools for higher education institutions. As a leading SaaS company within Edtech we are now moving to redefine the future of Acedmic Operations.
Today, TimeEdit is a market leader in Europe and one of Scandinavia’s fastest-growing Edtech companies. On average, our customers spend 20% less on facilities, representing more than 4MEUR (!) in savings per year (yes, we’re pretty proud of that!). Less money spent on empty rooms means more resources allocated to research projects and higher education quality.
