Adapteo is the leading adaptable space partner in Northern Europe. We develop, build, rent out and sell adaptable buildings for schools, daycares, care centres, offices, and accommodation. With our modular and circular building solutions, our customers can transform, repurpose, scale up and scale down based on their changing needs. That is how we build adaptable and sustainable societies. Adapteo has a building portfolio of 1.6 million square meters and operates in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. We currently number about 600 employees with head offices in Stockholm, Sweden and Vantaa, Finland. A majority of our revenues is generated by rental contracts from the public sector.

We are now looking for an Operations Development Manager to join our Group Supply Chain team to support fleet management and related investments. The role is primarily based at our headquarters in Vantaa, but other Nordic locations may be considered for the right candidate.

This is not a narrow specialist role. This is for someone who wants to solve real operational problems, improve how things work, and drive execution across countries. This role sits at the intersection of operations, investments and development — with a clear emphasis on making complex topics structured, actionable, and decision-ready.

As an Operations Development Manager, you will play a central role in developing and improving how we plan, operate, and coordinate our fleet-based business across countries, working across S&OP, tools, and ways of working. In addition, you will contribute to developing our fleet investment processes, focusing on operational decision-making – not financial structuring.

We are looking for a hands-on and driven professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to move things forward in practice. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving real operational challenges, and are comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders across countries. You build relationships easily, communicate clearly, and work in a structured way. You take ownership and are not afraid to challenge and improve existing ways of working.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Drive improvements across operations, supply chain and fleet — from analysis to implementation
  • Define and implement clear structures and decision-making practices across countries
  • Develop and standardize ways of working related to planning, coordination, and fleet management
  • Develop investment-related processes, tools, and governance
  • Improve how we plan, balance, and utilize our fleet across countries
  • Lead cross-country topics that require alignment and clear ownership

Skills & Requirements

What we expect from you

  • Master’s degree in business, engineering or similar
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in e.g. consulting, business development, operations
  • Experience in working across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
  • Ability to move between analysis and hands-on execution
  • Curiosity and willingness to to understand technical aspects of modular units
  • Proactive mindset – you take ownership and move things forward
  • Fluent English; fluency in Finnish and/or Swedish considered a clear advantage
