Overview:
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with strong experience processing payroll on older/mainframe systems. The role involves handling complex payroll transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll using legacy/mainframe systems.
- Handle overtime, back pay, differentials, allowances, and supplemental pay.
- Use Central Payroll System, WAGE, DNRA, and timekeeping tools.
- Apply Personnel Code, Rules, Pay Plan, and Collective Bargaining agreements.
- Review payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accuracy.
- Supervise and support payroll staff as needed.
Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for documentation and reporting.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications
- Strong experience in payroll using mainframe/legacy systems.
- 1 year of experience with CPS, WAGE, DNRA, and timekeeping systems.
- 1 year of experience in complex payroll calculations.
- 1 year applying HR/payroll rules, policies, and classification/pay plans.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
