Smart Eye is leading the global market for Driver Monitoring Systems, which will soon be a standard component in every car. Monitoring the driver behavior is safety critical both for normal driving as well as for autonomous driving. We are constantly growing and are now looking for an IT Support Engineer.
We are seeking a proactive and structured IT Support Engineer to join our internal IT team.

Work description
You will be part of our small international IT team supporting our software engineers in developing our products. Most of your stakeholders are really tech-savvy.
The ideal candidate will provide frontline support for end-users, manage our office network infrastructure, and uphold a strong information security posture. This person must be equally comfortable working across Windows, Ubuntu/Linux, and Microsoft 365 environments.
For us, it’s more important that you are a techy, willing to learn and love helping people, rather than that you know all technologies mentioned below.

Skills & Requirements
Key responsibilities:
End-User Support (Windows & Ubuntu)
- Provide daily first and second-line support for employees on Windows and Ubuntu workstations.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage device lifecycle, and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies across local and cloud platforms.
- Manage Print-solution
- Maintain asset documentation and support logs in line with ITIL practices.
Network management
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WLAN switches (e.g., FS, Arista, Cisco and similar).
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, manage DHCP/DNS, VPNs, and wired/wireless access points (Ubiquity).
- Implement and maintain secure network policies to ensure availability and integrity.
- Assist in office IT expansions and upgrades (e.g., hardware rollouts, cabling etc.)
Nice-to-have-skills:
Data Center Management
- Monitor and maintain IT environment in data centers (Servers, Storage, Network, ISP connections)
We believe your experience is in:
Operating Systems:
- Solid experience with Windows 11 administration and support. We are using Intunes+Autopilot.
- Proficient in Linux/Ubuntu environments, including command line and bash scripting.
Office Productivity and Identity Platforms:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra.
- Knowledge of Intune/Endpoint Manager for device and app deployment.
Networking:
- Understanding of network infrastructure concepts: VLANs, firewalls, NAT, routing protocols.
- Experience with common network tools and diagnostics (e.g., Wireshark, iperf).
Your Background:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
- Some hands-on IT support experience.
