Main goal

We aim to empower our interns with exciting and up-to-date projects from the start of the internship and count on your motivation and proactivity to help deliver high quality services for our upcoming events.
We are looking for two motivated interns to support the organisation of meetings, events, competitions and finals. Both interns will contribute to delivering high-quality services, while each role will have a specific operational focus:

  • International Operations: supporting accommodation and meeting arrangements for UEFA’s international events and activities
  • Local Operations (Switzerland-based events): providing support with booking accommodation, meeting spaces, and coordinating catering and transportation arrangements for events and meetings held in Nyon and the surrounding area

Key responsibilities

  • Administrative Support of accommodation team (procurement, statistic, queries);
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and hotel information/concepts;
  • Preparing Excel analysis documents;
  • Support with hotel negotiations (contracts, offers, F&B quotes);
  • Hotel search and sending out RFPs for events, competitions and finals;
  • Support in the operational planning of events, competitions and finals.

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Education:

  • Hotel school or equivalent

Languages:

  • English (oral and written) / Proficient
  • French would be a plus

Other requirements:

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) / Advanced
  • Good organisational skills
  • Service-minded and solution-oriented
  • Able to communicate easily with different cultures and clients
  • Able to manage stress
  • Motivated
