Fluxion is looking for a Frontend Lead to turn complex business models into intuitive, powerful product experiences.

Fluxion is building a new category of software for enterprise decision-making. Our AI-native platform helps companies understand how business decisions affect their financial outcomes by replacing rigid spreadsheets with a real-time modelling environment. At the core of Fluxion is a graph-based modelling engine, advanced analytics, and an AI co-pilot that enables teams to test scenarios, explore alternatives, and understand business impact instantly.


What will you be doing?

As a Frontend Lead, you will take ownership of Fluxion’s core product interface: the grid and graph-based modelling environment where users interact with models, scenarios and AI-assisted workflows.

Your main responsibility is building the grid and graph-based UI that allows users to explore models, analyze data, and simulate decisions in real time. This means designing intuitive interactions for technically complex concepts and ensuring that large datasets flow smoothly between the backend and the frontend. Much of the work involves building highly interactive, data-intensive product features where complex client-side state and large datasets must remain fast and reliable.

You will work closely with Fluxion’s founders, engineers and product design to turn complex modelling logic into clear and intuitive product interactions. While your primary focus is frontend development, you will also contribute across the stack when needed and help evolve the product as Fluxion’s modelling platform grows. Our tech stack includes technologies such as TypeScript, React and Python, with modern tooling and infrastructure across Node.js, Postgres and AWS.

This role suits someone who enjoys building ambitious products from scratch, collaborating closely with founders and shaping both the product and the frontend architecture from the early stages of the company.

Required qualifications:

  • Strong experience building complex, data-intensive frontend applications with modern frameworks such as React and/or TypeScript
  • Strong skills with scalable frontend architecture and understanding of optimizing performance in large frontend codebases
  • Solid fullstack fundamentals and ability to work across the stack when needed
  • Experience building rich, desktop-like web applications (e.g. analytics tools, complex web apps with multiple panels/views or collaborative platforms)
  • Strong product intuition and interest in building high-quality developer and user experiences
  • Full working proficiency in English

We consider as an asset:

  • Experience working with large structured datasets and complex data interactions (tables, editors, trees or similar)
  • Background in financial systems, business modelling or analytical software products
  • Academic background in computer science, mathematics, engineering or similar

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position and you will be employed directly to Fluxion. The starting date will be agreed with the selected candidate. Fluxion’s office is located in Helsinki, and hybrid work is possible, but we hope you are able to work from the office regularly. The salary will be negotiated individually based on your experience and in addition to the salary, the position includes a stock option package.
