Regional Sales Manager Midwest

We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Regional Sales Manager-Southwest Territory within our Sales capability. This position reports to Business Director and will work Remote.

About the position

As a Regional Sales Manager-Southwest Territory, you will build influential relationships with key stakeholders to achieve strategic sales, service, and end-user objectives as assigned. Through a combination of extensive territory travel and virtual engagement, you will connect with customers, build rapport with distributor sales teams and collaborate with inside sales to ensure Dometic has a strong and balanced position in all markets. This position reports to the Business Director.

Your main responsibilities

  • Manage Land Vehicles Americas Service & Aftermarket (LVA-SAM) business within the defined territory to achieve strategic KPI’s, including but not limited to sales / market share / program promotion / product training and service development working collaboratively with the Inside Sales support team.
  • Create and maintain a territory development plan based upon targets and KPI’s that will be defined by management.
  • Develop and maintain account prioritized route schedules to guide travel.
  • Utilize sales reporting and territory management software tools.
  • Become technically proficient in all product categories and an expert in sales critical feature-benefits.
  • Deliver training at dealerships to support new product launches / product category education and Dometic Product Academy utilization.
  • Engage with customer service and other functional areas as necessary to address account issues requiring escalation and to support efforts to ensure accounts remain in good standing.
  • Build relationships with dealers and key stakeholders through participating in industry events where relevant.
  • Support defined initiatives at Camping World stores in the territory.
  • Complete other projects as assigned

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be a solid experience within Customer Service and Sales – as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Post-secondary degree in business (marketing, sales or related discipline) or 5 years commensurate experience
  • Ability to travel within region over 70% of time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and willing to learn new software/systems as introduced
  • Knowledge of RV’s and and/or experience RVing would be considered an asset
