About the position

As a Supply Planner for Dometic Parts / Spare Parts, you are responsible for managing complex spare parts portfolios characterized by sporadic demand and high-mix, low-volume structures. Your mission is to balance customer service levels (On Time Shipment), safety stock targets, and inventory efficiency while ensuring high long-term availability across the network.

Your main responsibilities

  • Inventory Optimization
Conduct regular ABC/XYZ analyses to segment the spare parts portfolio by value and demand predictability and define differentiated planning and safety stock strategies accordingly.
  • Lifecycle & Obsolescence Management
Own and drive the End-of-Life (EoL) process, including the calculation and execution of Last Time Buys (LTB), to secure spare parts availability over extended lifecycles (often 10+ years).
  • Supply Execution & Expediting
Monitor open purchase orders, proactively manage delivery risks, and follow up with suppliers to ensure reliable supply performance.
  • Supersession Management
Manage technical replacement chains and part number supersessions to enable smooth transitions from old to new items while minimizing obsolete inventory and waste.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
Act as a key interface between Technical Service, Procurement, Logistics, and other stakeholders to align supply plans with service requirements, product changes, and market developments.
  • Performance & Issue Management
Proactively identify deviations in availability, inventory levels, or supplier performance and initiate corrective actions.
  • Master Data & System Management
Maintain and continuously improve supply-chain-relevant master data to ensure planning accuracy and system integrity.
  • Process & System Improvement
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement and further development of planning processes, tools, and systems across the Dometic Parts network.
  • Customs Clearance
Dedicated customs clearance support for imports to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics.
  • Operational & Administrative Tasks
Handle administrative activities related to the ordering process, including appointment updates, invoice approvals, and in-transit bookings.
