About The Role And The Team
As a Senior Security Operations Specialist, you will join our newly formed security operations team, working closely with leadership to define and deliver consultancy services for customer environments.

You will work delivering our managed security and services and security consulting engagements. Depending on your experience and skills, you will also have the opportunity to support the design and development of the service features, technology and processes.

The cyber security team will be part of the security services unit responsible for security products and services in GlobalConnects B2B business unit. Our unit has the sole focus of enabling our customers to secure their infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily security operations: review solution configurations, monitor alerts, investigate issues, and deliver insight reports.

• Deliver security assessments and advisory engagements: evaluate customer controls, recommend improvements, and document findings.

• Deploy and configure security technologies in hybrid and cloud-first environments (Azure, M365).

• Support security engineering to improve security controls, processes and automation related to our services.

• Stay current on cyber threats, TTPs and defensive techniques to protect and advise customers.

• Partner with sales to support scoping, proposals and customer workshops.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

5+ years of relevant technical cyber security experience, practical knowledge covering several of the following areas:

• Security monitoring and/or security incident investigations and response.
• Delivering security assessments, specifically around hybrid Microsoft environments
• Designing layered protection, detection and response with relevant security technologies
• Security consulting engagements for different types of customers across various industries, including scoping the engagement and supporting sales
• System administration, cloud automation and scripting experience is considered beneficial
• Proficient in English and fluent in one Nordic or German language (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish) - able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues in both written and spoken form.
