We’re looking for a Software Engineer (iOS) to join our iOS Team — a group of experienced engineers responsible for developing and maintaining F-Secure’s consumer security applications.

In this role, you’ll focus on developing our iOS application while working closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, UX designers, backend developers, and security experts. You’ll contribute to a product used by millions, with the opportunity to influence how we build high-quality, privacy-first mobile experiences.

We work in a hybrid model based in our newly opened Helsinki HQ – designed for modern collaboration and teamworking, complete with a rooftop sauna and a fully equipped gym.

What makes this role unique

You’ll be working on a comprehensive security platform with multiple integrated components including malware scanning, VPN, parental controls, password management, and browser protection.

This is a product-focused role where you’ll contribute to the development of our iOS application while collaborating closely with teams working across other platforms. You’ll have the opportunity to grow into an expert in the iOS ecosystem and influence how we build secure, scalable mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our native iOS application
• Work with Swift and SwiftUI to build modern, high-quality mobile interfaces
• Collaborate with UX designers to create seamless user experiences
• Integrate with backend services via REST APIs
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and maintainable architecture
• Contribute to shared code and cross-platform collaboration where relevant

What are we looking for

• Proven experience in iOS development using Swift
• Strong understanding of Swift and SwiftUI
• Familiarity with Xcode and Swift Package Manager
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Focus on code quality, testing, and maintainable architecture
• Good collaboration skills and eagerness to learn

Bonus points for

• Interest or background in cybersecurity, privacy, or system-level development
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or agentic AI tooling
• Experience with Combine and reactive programming patterns
• Experience with CI/CD and build tooling
