Main goal

UEFA’s Editorial Content Services manage the delivery of all shoulder programming and content services to support UEFA’s broadcast partners and stakeholders in their coverage and promotion of UEFA’s competitions and activities.

Reporting to the Senior Additional Programming Expert, the Additional Programming Coordinator will lead the preparation of all the unit's print materials for UEFA EURO 2028 and the organisation of the pre-tournament training workshops and participating team squad access days. Initially based in Nyon, Switzerland, you will relocate to the international broadcast centre in Birmingham to support our on-site UEFA EURO 2028 operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Organising the pre-tournament training workshop, including scheduling sessions and booking the venue, catering and related logistics
  • Onboarding external contractors, ensuring that accreditation, zoning and allocated services are correct
  • Managing the training workshop budget, raising purchase orders, submitting invoices and completing the budget reconciliation
  • Pre-planning and day to day management of the pre-tournament participating team, squad access days
  • Managing the submission of UEFA Euro match attendance reports and attending related meetings
  • Managing the crew daily movement plans and ensuring that equipment is returned
  • Supporting the Editorial Content Services Manager at selected matches during the tournament
  • Managing ad hoc productions and administrative tasks as required

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Experience:

  • At least 3 years' production management experience in a broadcasting or production company, preferably in a sports environment with experience in major events

Languages:

  • English / Proficient

Other requirements:

  • Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected
  • Excellent administrative, numeracy and organisational skills, with the ability to react to changes in priorities by reorganising your workload to meet deadlines and targets
  • Sound understanding of the different stages of a production process, including compliance, third-party approvals, insurance and health and safety matters
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and deal diplomatically yet confidently with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • A team-oriented approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills, with working knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel, and ideally experience working with SAP
