Senior Accountant

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will require to establish and managing day-to-day Finance and Accounting function to support the operation of our import and sales business, working with Financial Controller and Accounting team to ensure compliance and timely management of all duties.

Job Description

  • Reconciliation of all GL accounts, receipts, and invoices for tax purposes.
  • Supply consolidated reports and data to external agencies as required.
  • Work closely with the external bookkeeping company, Finance
    Controller, and accounting team to meet all daily requirements and
    compliance needs.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the customer debtors
    list for circulation with the sales team.
  • Issue and process VAT invoices and record them in NAV.
  • Manage month-end closing activities between internal company
    processes, external agencies, and head office requirements.
  • Manage inventory reconciliation and coordinate with the operations team
    to prepare inventory reports.
  • Prepare monthly and yearly Trial Balance reports.
  • Collaborate and work with the Finance Controller to support monthly
    reporting requirements.
  • Perform other accounting and finance functions as assigned by the
    Finance Controller.
  • Production of monthly management reports.
  • Management of the annual audit process.
  • Management cash balance between vendor and customer collection.
  • Processing of claims and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Follow-up on monthly invoices from the building, cleaning service
    provider, phone provider, rental printer provider, and internet provider.
  • Coordinate with the Financial Controller to prepare documents required
    for submission to government authorities.
  • Coordinate with admin to manage assets list and record company assets in
    the system.

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree or in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant working experience in Finance/ Accounting.
  • Good knowledge of VAT, statutory reporting requirements, compliance and reconciliation of all GL accounts.
  • Good understanding of local taxation regulations with ability to advise.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally internally and externally across the Region.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Thais.
  • Knowledge and experience in ERP system (SAP) is a plus.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team is a plus.
  • Agile and resilient, thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
