What will you be doing?
Singa is a Helsinki-based technology company transforming the global karaoke industry with a streaming platform used by over 2 million users and 1,600+ professional venues across 34 countries. As a Data Engineer, you will join Singa’s product organization and play a key role in developing the company’s modern data infrastructure that supports product decisions, analytics, and business intelligence.
In this role, you’ll build and operate data pipelines that move, transform, and serve reliable data across our AWS-based stack. You’ll work closely with our Data Lead as your main partner while collaborating with product, analytics, and leadership teams to ensure that data is fresh, accurate, and actionable.

We require you to have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer running production data pipelines
- Strong Python and SQL skills for data processing and transformation
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services
- Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Experience integrating APIs and external SaaS platforms
- Openness to AI-assisted development and willingness to adopt new tools
- Have a full working proficiency in English
We consider as an asset:
- Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
- Familiarity with Apache Iceberg or other lakehouse table formats
- Experience with CDC tools (e.g. Debezium, AWS DMS)
- Streaming data pipeline experience (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)
- Experience leveraging AI coding assistants in development workflows

Practicalities:
This is a full-time and permanent position, and you will be employed directly by Singa. The preferred start date is as soon as possible. The role will be located in Helsinki, and we hope you are able to work at the office at least a few days per week as part of a hybrid model. Salary in this position is 5500-6500 €/month (gross) depending on the level of your experience, and will be negotiated individually.
