HR Officer

We are looking for an HR Officer to join our Prague-based team and take ownership of HR operations across three markets — Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania. This is a varied, hands-on role combining international HR agenda with office and contract management. Skills & Requirements

Responsibilities

HR Agenda — support for Hungary, Bulgaria & Romania

  • End-to-end recruitment and full administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, contract amendments, terminations, etc.)
  • Regular communication with Site Managers in each country, handling operational tasks and supporting depot stability
  • Collaboration with external payroll providers and local lawyers, providing necessary documentation and support
  • Setup and annual update of employee benefit programs
  • Maintenance and updates of HR policies and guidelines in line with local legislation
  • Attendance system management in cooperation with Site Managers
  • Organization of training, development activities and team buildings — collaboration on joint projects with the Czech and Slovak HR team
  • Additional ad hoc tasks as needed

Office & Contract Management

  • Fleet management — administration of a fleet of approximately 30 company cars, including setup and updates of car policy
  • Contract management — maintaining contract records, regular monthly review of expirations and ensuring timely renewals
  • Management and updates of internal office policies — car policy, hardware policy, travel policy, etc.

Requirements

  • Secondary or university education
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR
  • Communicative level of English — for daily communication with international colleagues
  • Fluent Czech language
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel for regular reporting
  • Precise and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, helpful attitude
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

-We are founded in 1992.

-We introduced our iconic green reusable plastic crates (RPCs) in the 90's, which became a staple in the transportation and storage of fresh produce across Europe.

-In the mid-2000s, we implemented RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) technology to track and trace our RPCs more efficiently.

-In 2021 we started using the first recycled folding trays.

-We’ve got over 70 service centres all over Europe – you can find us in most countries. So, wherever you are in Europe, our efficient network has got you covered.

-Through new technologies and knowledge, we were able to lower our washing temperature in 2022 which resulted in significant reduction of between 47% and 52% in our gas consumption.

-In 2017 we agreed that we want to reduce our carbon footprint by 20% by 2025 by implementing several improvement projects.
