We are currently hiring React/React Native Developer to be based in Milan.

Your mission at Epassi

As part of the Engineering team at Epassi, you will play a key role in shaping the evolution of our digital corporate welfare platforms. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of reliable, scalable, and user‑centric solutions that support thousands of employees and partner companies across Italy.

Your responsibilities will be:

You will work on systems that directly impact the quality, performance and innovation of the systems that power Epassi’s mission: enabling better everyday wellbeing through intuitive, secure, and modern technology. By bringing your expertise, curiosity, and ownership mindset, you will help us build the next generation of our platform while supporting the broader transformation toward a more modular, cloud‑based, future‑ready architecture.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications using React, React Native, and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain front‑end architecture.
• Work closely with backend and middleware teams to integrate frontends with REST APIs, GraphQL, and AWS‑based services.
• Manage the build and distribution of React Native apps on iOS and Android, using Expo EAS or native pipelines.
• Ensure high-quality engineering standards through testing, code reviews, clean architecture, and best practices.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, participating in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Monitor and optimize web and mobile application performance, reliability, and usability.
• Support the migration from legacy workflows to the new React + React Native + AWS ecosystem.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of professional experience in React and React Native development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Proven experience with React Native app development and distribution on both iOS and Android (Expo EAS or native).
• Experience with Node.js fundamentals: routing, API consumption, server-side logic, or backend collaboration.
• Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based frontend deployments (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Proficiency with GitHub and modern CI/CD workflows (in collaboration with the global DevOps team).
• Ability to work in Agile teams, participate actively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Basic experience with Node.js fundamentals (routing, API consumption, server-side logic) is a plus (not mandatory).
• Basic understanding of Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus (not mandatory).
