Analytics Engineer

We are expanding our Data & ML team with an Analytics Engineer to further scale how data drives decisions at Lendo. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to design and build data solutions that make a difference. You will combine strong data modeling skills with business understanding, ensuring our data models and pipelines enable smarter decisions across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning data into meaningful business impact.
What you will do:
- Design and evolve analytics products and data models that power decision-making across analytics, ML, and operational use cases.
- Partner directly with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Build and extend data pipelines and datasets to support new use cases and ensure reliable data delivery.
- Establish high trust in data through strong validation, monitoring, and documentation practices.
- Improve how teams use data and enable self-service where appropriate.
- Enable smarter and faster decision-making by embedding AI-powered analytics capabilities into our workflows and reporting.
- Continuously identify opportunities where better modeling or structuring of data can unlock business value.
Skills & Requirements
What you will bring:
- 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling, with experience building production-grade transformations.
- Solid experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake is a plus) and ingestion pipelines.
- Experience working with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow and building or maintaining data pipelines.
- Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate needs into robust data solutions.
- Experience with data quality frameworks, testing, and observability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort owning solutions end-to-end.
Nice to have:
- Experience integrating AI-powered insights or predictive models into reporting.
- Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
- Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
