The focus of your role
We’re looking for a Junior Aerospace Design Engineer (f/m/d) to employ in Donauwörth within our global business unit Digital Engineering and Manufacturing Services. In this role you will work within the design team to deliver best-in-class engineering design for the aerospace industry.
What you’ll do
- Create concepts and detailed designs of aerospace products and components with focus on the helicopters development, systems and mission equipment
- Analyze the requirements, capabilities and performance of new and existing products
- Verify requirements compliance and apply relevant industrial standard
- Research potential new product developments, new processes, and/or new sources
- Use CAD programs to develop concepts and designs
- Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of products and components
- Communicate and collaborate with the team and with the client about technical decision and work progress
What you’ll bring
- BSc/MSc in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Catia V5
- High motivated team player with interest in working in multicultural teams
- EU/NATO nationality only
- Fluent in English and German
